City Engineers: Quakes and Shakes
Grade: Entering Grades 3-4-5
Length: Full Day Camps
Campers will explore how to design a city that can survive an earthquake and related natural disasters. They will explore the effects of earthquakes on land, water, and structures and then design stable structures and alternative energy sources to withstand them. Students will gain a deeper understanding of engineering as well as the causes and effects of earthquakes.
