What happens when you build on shaky ground? In this online program, you will explore how to design a structure that can survive an earthquake and related natural disasters. Together we will explore the effects of earthquakes on structures, then design stable structures to test their earthquake preparedness. You will gain a deeper understanding of engineering as well as the causes and effects of earthquakes.
What You Will Need at Home:
● Materials that will be delivered directly to your home
● A collection of recycled materials for crafting with; it’s best to start collecting now!
● A large flat surface and tablecloth to work on
